We had 12 weeks to do a piece using any medium, and for the subject we were given one word: 'War'
So, naturally, I started it the night before the deadline. It took about 3 hours to do, and then Photoshop crashed just before I was about to save it, so I lost all the work. I had to find all the stocks I used all over, and was finally done around 2am.

EDIT: Found out why: Whenever I install a new font, and CS3 is open, it crashes. Only if the character window is open. So it's that. So I can't intsall fonts while CS3 is open. =\

This is based on WWII, though it applies to most wars. I'm not saying soldiers are weak here; quite the opposite: the leaders are cowards, who think they need hundreds of thousands of men to fight on their behalf, when it, majorly, comes down to only one man being killed.
So the hand is that of Hitler, using the soldier as a puppet to fight his war. Needlessly.

I used several stocks from various sources, brushes I have accumulated over my time here at dA, and my reasonably good knowledge of Photoshop.

Huge thanks to the various stock sites that I used, and most, if not all, of the brushes used and the scratchy background texture came from here on dA. Also, a big thanks to all the bands I was listening to whilst making this... Billy Talent especially, some great lyrics in there. And MCR.

There may be some more revisions, since I did some work on this last night; turns out the teacher didn't really care if it was in on the deadline or not, since loads of people haven't finished yet. So I have another week.

Sorry to all my watchers, who haven't seen any proper work, other than screenshots, in ages. I haven't done any web work in PS in ages, and when I try, I can't seem to produce anything I like. So now you have this totally out-of-my-style piece too.
